I am getting increasingly frustrated. Apparently primary school girls only want skinny fit school trousers in material so thin it lets light through.

Boys of course get Teflon coated reinforced knees with a generous fit.

DD is in 10+ sized clothing and most of her stuff comes from the "boys" section but zip/buttons mean we can't get boys trousers for school.

So where can we get decent quality comfortable black trousers for a girl who likes to do things other than sit still doing "girls activities"?

Exhausted very limited local shops so will have to be online.

M&S.

Dd used to wear pull on Jersey style ones. Would she wear them?

Standingonceremony · 13/08/2019 17:51

@Pinkout what are the sizes like? Are there any particular styles? I'll need to buy online.

@dementedpixie not opposed as long as they are half decent quality and not skinny fit. She refuses to wear anything even slightly restrictive. She's a tall skinny thing and finds slim/skinny trousers restrictive so I've no idea how girls with bigger legs manage.

We used to get dds Jersey ones from Asda.

Have you looked at Next?

AbbyNormal · 13/08/2019 18:28

Always found Next to be great quality. Their trousers last all year. Gave up on M&S after the knees kept wearing away and the seams came apart within a few months (happened on three occasions)
