How do you pronounce ‘AIBU?’ in your head?

OP posts:
ZenNudist · 11/08/2019 16:54

Aye-boo

It never occurred to me that someone else would think differently

notso · 11/08/2019 16:55

Ay-boo

I don't know where you're getting the 'eh' from so Yar-boo!

usersouthcoast · 11/08/2019 16:57

Am I being unreasonable here!

ImportantWater · 11/08/2019 16:58

Eye Boo
But I can understand where posters are coming from who don't pronounce it in their head at all, just take the meaning and move on. I do that a lot with names and places in books. Especially Russian names or sci fi names, and haven't a clue if then asked to read the book aloud.

apostropheuse · 11/08/2019 17:03

Am I being unreasonable.

ZazieTheCat · 11/08/2019 17:09

MsHopey · 11/08/2019 17:28

MsHopey · 11/08/2019 17:30

Lol I think is the only thing I keep short in my head.
Even WTF is the full words in my head.
Weird.

helpmeiamatoad · 11/08/2019 17:32

In my head its eye-boo! Out loud I’d probably call it ‘am I being unreasonable’
