Name changed for this

Me and DP have been together 2 and a bit years and recently we moved in together but even before we moved in he would do this when staying over

He puts his head on my shoulder and sometimes (most the time) falls asleep. At first I thought it was cute but now it's getting annoying.

Especially when I know he's asleep I wake him up and tell him to go to bed because he says he's tired and he refuses.

He's a pretty affectionate guy.

tonight he's done it again and I woke him up and told him to go to bed and he said no and he said he won't fall asleep again

And guess what? He has. I'm wanting to go to bed in a minute as I'm getting tired and he will probably complain I woke him up.

WIBU to tell him in the morning the stop doing it? I wouldn't mind once in a while and if he did it by accident but it's getting annoying now

My dh could have written a similar post, so I'm going to say YABU. Mind you, I don't often fall asleep on him, just beside him. That would probably be more annoying.

I wouldn't mind if it wasn't every night. And if he didn't get annoyed when I woke him up

Yanbu. When his head comes near your shoulder ask him to move. If he asks why tell him "Its not comfortable for me when you sleep there and you will be annoyed if I wake you up"
That would really annoy me too.

I tell him to move his head because it isn't comfortable for me when he sleeps there and he says he won't sleep but he does

Partner puts his head on me when watching TV and sometimes falls asleep. If it was all the time and if he got annoyed that I woke him up it would annoy me so YANBU.
