To think no matter how tactful you are some people are going to be put out?

Moved dd schools at Xmas she has just finished y2.
We moved her as school was outstanding when started (but was 7 years old) currently needs improvement. Her class size was 32 and teaching staff constantly changing.
Anyway I’ve tried be really mindful and tactful so when people have asked just said we were moving to that village anyway.
Think no matter how tactful I’ve been some of the mums from old school have taken offence at us moving schools and at social events been bit off with me.
Very questioning about our decision to move schools.
How do I deal with this carry on with the tactful approach or something else?!

Why do you need to be ‘tactful’? They’re not running the school. Just tell the truth - you weren’t happy with its performance.

To be honest, I quite often remove people from social media if I'm not going to be around them anymore such as their children leaving the school. It may not be anything to do with your reasons.

'I thought school B would be a better fit for her'

What business is it of theirs ? Confused

Honestly who the fuck cares?

You've moved schools, it's no one's business but your own. They know the school has declined, if they're put out by you moving that's their lookout not yours.
