Anyone been? Are the queues ridiculous? Is it worth it for 4 year olds?

Don't do it....we went last year and it was horrendous, there was also loads of things shut and you have to police the queues otherwise all the bigger children push in.

Wait till you have an inset day.

Gracie300 · 10/08/2019 08:38

Thanks! Anyone else?

I took my 4 year old October half term and it was fine queue wise and she had a great time but think better for 7/8 as lots she couldn't do.

We go a few times a year - for us,
It’s totally worth it. Get the earliest slot and there is barely anyone. We have the annual pass.

jesuschristwtf · 10/08/2019 08:42

^ my daughter started going at 4. She’s 5 now and we’ve renewed our annual pass.

Gracie300 · 10/08/2019 10:06

Thanks all, considering tickets alone will be £90 we might wait till an inset day!

I wouldn’t, but only because I used to work for the man that owns Kidzania and he is one of the most awful people I ever had the misfortune to know.

Same reason I’ll never touch Cadbury’s chocolate again as long as I live...

Inferiorbeing · 10/08/2019 11:37

Don't go in general, I had a burning headache within 5 minutes and it's so busy

scarletthollie5 · 10/08/2019 12:40

We went last summer holidays and going again next week. Some queuing but not too bad . Fingers crossed for the same next week

PoptartPoptart · 10/08/2019 13:24

If you go early and book the first slot of the day the queues aren’t too bad.
Do not consider going between 11-4pm - mad busy.

NCB2019 · 10/08/2019 14:22

I did last summer. I think it was a Wednesday and we did the 2-6 slot. It was busy when we first got there but by 4 it was a lot quieter. My kids loved it. We bought the tickets through the picnic website which worked out cheaper. Not sure if they still have the offer on.

Indie139 · 11/08/2019 14:03

Pretty sure it will be busy, think alot tourists with kids go aswell.

I went last year with my daughter, afternoon slot, first day of the Easter holidays. Was expecting it to be really busy but surprisingly it wasnt and ques were about 10 min max

familycourtq · 11/08/2019 14:07

I took DD (11) last year in school hols. It was absolute hell on earth. I managed (after a bit of to-and-fro) to get a refund out of them it was so bad.

It is such a shame as it's a great idea, but they are just greedy and don't care about the experience kids (or parents) have.

imip · 11/08/2019 14:10

Go early, you won’t have to queue for too long. My top is to go to GHK to get the kids to make their own lunch at around 11:30. I go with 4dc. Two have ASD and we seem to manage.

SnappedandFartedagain · 11/08/2019 14:19

Don't ever pay full price - get the half price tickets from LittleBird or another of the discount sites. They send you a code to book online and just book to go on the day that looks the quietest in the booking system. The couple of days before the kids go back to school were really quiet last year.

Plus your children will need a little bag to carry around their neck or waist to collect their money from each activity. Kidzania sell little wallet things that hang around the neck but they are about £10 each.
