To be furious?

On a 3 year graduate scheme. Started on a fixed amount with 2k rise each year. Found out today that the intake in the year below me, about to start their final year of the scheme (the year I have just completed) are being given a 10k rise this year, across the board. Apparently this is the new company policy. Aibu to be absolutely furious?

Have you finished the scheme then? Pay can't stay static forever?

Sadly that's life. When new policies come into fruition, you'll always get people who miss out. It feels unfair but it's not personal. I experienced such situations and it is highly frustrating but you are better focusing on yourself as all that frustration can do is eat you inside.

Yes you’re right, finishing scheme shortly so should get an increase - but obviously it won’t be that much larger than theirs - before it was quite significant in comparison

You got the amount you signed up for, it's not like they're taking their pay out of your wages. That's life.

No, this IS unreasonable. My company, when it increases starting salary on the grad scheme, always ups the salaries of recent joiners too to be fair.
