Seeingadistance · 09/08/2019 18:25

Do it!

Karigan195 · 09/08/2019 18:26

Please don’t do mine. I’m waiting for the rosehips!

Henlie · 09/08/2019 18:26

Me too....and to weed people’s driveways/patios/flower beds (delete as appropriate) 😂

separatelives · 09/08/2019 18:31

Yes and in people's houses with their pot plants. Grin

SpottedGingham · 09/08/2019 18:34

No, but I do get the urge to correct spellings.

Past. Not passed.

StroppyWoman · 09/08/2019 18:35

I deadhead things. I can't help it.

Wilmalovescake · 09/08/2019 18:38

How do you know they’ve passed? 😜

Weezol · 09/08/2019 18:42

Yes. And I don't even have a garden.

SpottedGingham I have to try very hard not to carry wet wipes in one pocket and chalk in the other to prevent myself correcting spelling and puctuation on the dozens of chalkboards near me. My friend (quote "Weezol, you are the only pedant I could actually love") reckons I visibly twitch when I see the boards.

321zerobaby · 09/08/2019 18:44

When my children were small, I used to keep a pair of secateurs tucked in the hood of the buggy. Not specifically for roses, but any stray, unkempt bramble or branch that would get in my way.

Watto1 · 09/08/2019 18:46

If you are passing my garden, please feel free to tackle the weeding! Bindweed has run amok this year.

Lonelykettleshed · 09/08/2019 18:53

I've never had the urge to garden. I'd be great full if someone sorted mine out.

Ratonastick · 09/08/2019 19:23

Yep. It’s a family trait, My dad once deadheaded his way round the RHS gardens at wisley.

Itsallgonewoowoo · 09/08/2019 19:27

No, I want to weed, I have tortoises and it's torture to walk past a weed filled garden when my girls would love it.

deste · 09/08/2019 21:07

Yes and pull up weeds.

SirVixofVixHall · 09/08/2019 21:07

I really thought you meant the gardens of deceased neighbours, until I read on .

missmouse101 · 09/08/2019 21:15

Yes, I thought you meant deceased people. This is precisely why spelling matters so much, even though many people love to argue that it doesn't and you're being a snob if you point it out.

StormcloakNord · 09/08/2019 21:48

What is dead heading?!?!

lyralalala · 09/08/2019 21:52

I wish someone would do mine. I haven't a clue what I'm doing and all the guidance online seems to depend on the type of roses you have - yellow apparently isn't a type so I'm still clueless!!

Earslaps · 09/08/2019 22:48

Shall I send you my address?

I do often have the urge to pull weeds out of driveways though, yet in my own I burn them.

AndromedaPerseus · 09/08/2019 22:50

Yes but I resist just in case some screaming harpy catches me mid act
