To worry about excess mucous (mucus?!)

I L. O. V. E biscuits. Love em'. The last couple of times that I've eaten some though I've noticed that I start to produce lots of thick phlegm (I know I know, sorry!) My nasal passages also feel a bit inflammed/tight at the time too. No hives/trouble breathing etc. I've always eaten biscuits - wtf is going on???

Possibly an allergy to something in biscuits - have you recently switched from custard creams to digestives? Smile

If it's only recently started it could be anything from hayfever/cold/sinus infection etc (I've had all 3 in the last 3 weeks I sound like an old man)

Are they chocolate biscuits? May be a dairy intolerance

This is what dairy does to lots of people because it’s mucous forming.

This is what's in them. I have noticed a bit of a struggle with bread lately too. I was tested a few months ago for wheat allergy but I came back negative. I can eat cake etc. I do have a grass allergy so I'm wondering if it could be a hay-fever type thing?
