Missed 2 periods. All negative tests, until today?

Tesco Freedom strip tests.

Will post pics in next comment, not sure how here.

Can you see the paperclip logo? You press on that.

Nabana · 08/08/2019 12:50

I can't see it :( maybe my account is too new

PorkHollywood · 08/08/2019 12:53

Hmm.. I don't know what the rules are actually for being able to post photos, I can't remember there being a time limit on how long you had to be a member for.

Basketofkittens · 08/08/2019 12:54

The paper clip icon is under the post reply box...

novicegardener01 · 08/08/2019 13:54

You have to have an account for 24 hours before you post a photo if I remember correctly

NoSauce · 08/08/2019 13:58

Are you new to MN OP? I think you have to be a member for a certain amount of days before being able to post photos.

Have you been to your GP? That would be a start as nobody on the internet can help you really.

Nabana · 08/08/2019 14:36

Paperclip appeared finally it wasn't there before

Thank you Pork and all who replied

The reason I ask is I've never used strip tests before so I'm not sure if the line is in the right place, looks right, etc. The leaflet wasn't very helpful with this one

NoSauce · 08/08/2019 14:45

I would test again using a different type as those shown here aren’t clear.

Have you been to your GP?

ambereeree · 08/08/2019 14:47

Looks like a positive to me

30not13 · 08/08/2019 14:49

I can only see the control test line

StupidlittlepricknamedRick · 08/08/2019 14:50

It looks like the colour has run. I wouldn't be taking it as a positive, try a different test.

Nabana · 08/08/2019 14:57

A close up,

Those strips are awful. I had a very thin line like that when I used it. I thought I was pregnant but it was a faulty test. The line wasn't even in the right place. I ended up getting my period, all all other tests were negative. Freedom tests have a lot of bad reviews. You would be better using a FRER

Thamantha · 08/08/2019 15:05

In the close up it does look like a line. My first positive test was a very very faint line. The digital tests that tell you how many weeks were helpful because then there was a more definite yes/no. My faint line turned out to be 1/2 weeks pregnant.

MarvelMum3 · 08/08/2019 15:16

I second that those tests are awful!

I ended up just buying a more expensive test (I want to say a clear blue one) because I took five tests over two days, 2 negative and 3 positive of differing intensities. I was five weeks pregnant at the time...

Pinkout · 08/08/2019 15:56

Those tests are horrible. I used one when I thought I might be pregnant years ago and it looked like a positive, I was gutted because I definitely didn’t want to be pregnant. Transpired it was just the way the test looked, I did a better brand and it was negative- period arrived a few days later.

Try a better brand, I hate those ones.

Whatisinaname1 · 08/08/2019 16:00

Those tests are crap, i would try a different brand.

DrVonPatak · 08/08/2019 16:01

At two missed periods, I would expect it to be glaringly obvious, so I wouldn't count that as positive.

For a peace of mind, I'd invest in a clear blue.

zeezee3 · 08/08/2019 16:04

@Nabana

Definitely negative.

Is it just me or is there one of these every week on here? And they ALWAYS look like negatives! Every time. Confused

And why are they in AIBU? Why not the pregnancy boards?

OneStepSideways · 08/08/2019 16:04

I don't think that's a second line, sorry, it looks like the control line or an evaporation line. With a positive the lines are usually close together. Maybe get a ClearBlue test, they're more reliable!

Owlbert · 08/08/2019 16:11

That's what my positives looked like! Good luck!

HaileySherman · 08/08/2019 16:16

If that faint line showed up in the designated test time, looks positive to me. If it was an hour later or something, then probably no. My first pregnancy test with first child was SO light that i thought it was negative, it doesn't matter how light it is, if it shows at all its positive. Then with my second child, i took the test on Saturday and it was negative then monday it was positive. The tests seem very sensitive. Congratulations?

Schuyler · 08/08/2019 16:31

I’m sorry, it looks negative to me. I agree to find a decent brand test like Clear blue instead.
