To think this is not hate speech, threat of violence so not a good reason to get a Twitter ban

Early on 30th July (0145ish) in my timeline appeared a tweet that read "I love women. Except Terfs. Terfs are c*nts.

Usually I report use of the term Terf. This time however I decided to respond. I went for:-

"Why can't misogynists spell the word cunt?"

I admit drink may have been taken, but surely that is not a threat or hate speech?

I have appealed my ban but am fully prepared to accept whatever decision the majority here come to.

Wait so you got banned but the person who wrote the initial tweet didn’t?

Duchessgummybuns · 05/08/2019 21:22

YABU for arguing on twitter.

Nonnymum · 05/08/2019 21:23

I don't understand why you were banned

DoctorTwo · 05/08/2019 21:57

Yes @Quaffy, a 7 day ban if I deleted my tweet. Now it's almost that since my appeal. Terf is hate speech imo and according to Twitter.

Nor can I @Nonnymum, but it still happened. I'm still blocked from viewing tweets because I appealed my ban. It's been 6 days.
