Lots of posts about junior isas, stocks and shares.. My dc have small lump sum in cash isa 3.25%, is is bad idea to move lump sum now to stocks isa (brexit etc) and are there ready made portfolio?

Can anyone recommend vanguard products available through Hargreaves or best invest. Ie index trackes. I thought vanguard had good rep but non I've seen are rated.

Why go through Hargreaves? If you are just setting up a S&S ISA lump sum iweb (Halifax) is only £25 to open and £5 per transaction.

I don't know what HL fees are but I expect they are a lot more than that (to be fair, they offer a more comprehensive service, but you'll probably won't be dong complication dealings).

Have a look at the Savings forum on MSE - lots of good advice there; Vanguard 60:40 seems to be enduringly popular.

Oh sorry Fragalino, I'm not sure about the position of junior ISAs. Definitely worth a mooch to MSE though, loads of useful info over there and people willing to pass on their experience!

Thanks
