Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm out of my mind with worry.
At recent smear, nurse identified a cervical polyp. Have an appointment at hospital in a fortnight to have it removed.
I foolishly googled it, and it keeps saying a lot are caused by HPV, the same virus that causes genital warts.
I have never seen nor suspected I have warts. I had an std test a few years ago which was clean.
Issue is that my partner of a year and I have just moved from using condoms to the pill. Do I have the warts virus, perhaps dormant? I'm terrified of infecting him.
