have loads I'm sure (I can't think of many rn) but Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman is one of my favourites!

Vampires, werewolves a Dracula I have an inappropriate crush on a badass heroine, bit of cheesyness , adventure and all the things in between. An overall great light-hearted watch for me.

Just discovered it's on Netflix and my evening is sorted 😁.

AIBU to ask what are you fav films which the majority doesn't appreciate?

Oh and four weddings and funeral and the bodyguard....

Boneshere · 05/08/2019 21:00

Jawbreaker!

PeoplesFrontOfJudith · 05/08/2019 21:06

@CoraPirbright yes another Practical Magic fan! It’s my go to cheer myself up movie.

wanderings · 05/08/2019 21:12

Spiceworld the Movie! I watched it again and again as a teenager, but I haven't seen it for a number of years. Time to dust off my VHS copy.

Entrapment, with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones. It's another one where she uses his name all the time. "Mac! Mac. Mac. Mac, Mac?!"

Tombraider. "It's a clock. It ticks, it tells the time. It's wrong."

Clueless.

Castieldeansam · 05/08/2019 21:27

@ethelfleda love the kissing booth and All the boys I’ve loved before -also Netflix. I love shit teen films too.
I also love demolition man, the proposal and most Hugh Jackman films.

Brendatheblenda · 05/08/2019 21:29

Pretty much any ‘special effects’ movie when the world is going to end. Particularly San Andreas, 2012, Dantes Peak etc. So bad they are fabulous. The Final Destination movies, Jurassic Park 3 (I know, I know)

Brendatheblenda · 05/08/2019 21:33

Also a huge YES to the PP who mentioned Death Becomes Her, surely that must be a classic!

Mrsjayy · 05/08/2019 21:33

Me and Dh love Demolition man and get a bit too excited when it comes on tv!

KennDodd · 05/08/2019 21:55

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Sex and the City (1&2) yet! I love them.

Booboooo · 05/08/2019 22:29

Girls just wana have fun? Anyone........... anyone?

PersonaNonGarter · 05/08/2019 22:30

The Parole Officer.

Littlebluebird123 · 05/08/2019 22:34

@Fluffiest
My sister was obsessed with LOTR cartoon version!
'Humph, sneaking' - was the main quote I remember. No idea why but we used to repeat it to her all the time. :D

Fluffiest · 05/08/2019 22:41

@Littlebluebird123 ha ha! I remember Sneaking too! I get the weird lines stuck in my head all the time and the songs too. "there is an Inn, a merry old Inn, beneath an old grey hill..." ah happy times!

ChateauMyself · 05/08/2019 22:42

Bedazzled - I actually like Liz Hurley in this.

KitchenDancefloor · 05/08/2019 23:03

Overboard
Private Benjamin
Devil's Advocate

I can't tear myself away from any of those if they are on the TV even though I've seen them a gazillion times.

Interview with a Vampire

I don't like it or 'get' it so I keep trying every time it is on the TV. I waste a couple of hours before declaring, well that was a waste of time! It's so pretty though.

HomeEdRocks18 · 05/08/2019 23:05

Filth featuring James mcavoy

So so pretty espescially Antonia banderas is truly beautiful in it !

HenSolo · 06/08/2019 08:38

The League of Extraordinary Gentleman - so bad Sean Connery stopped acting afterwards. Apparently. I thought it was ace!

HenSolo · 06/08/2019 08:39

@KitchenDancefloor yes to Devils Advocate!! I can do a mean Al Pacino as the devil impression. Just clap your hands together and shout ‘HA!’ alot

ShatnersWig · 06/08/2019 08:41

HenSolo It was more the experience of making it that put Connery off acting in future. He REALLY didn't get on with the director. I'm with you, I really liked it and I have to say most of my friends do, too.

Mrsjayy · 06/08/2019 08:42

Hensolo I also love it and wanted a sequel Blush the cgi was shocking Jason Flemming as Mr Hyde Grin

Fluffiest · 06/08/2019 11:28

Oh yes Bedazzled is brilliant, I also really like the soundtrack. Brendan Fraser is wonderful in everything. George of the Jungle anyone?

Chip22 · 06/08/2019 11:55

Just visiting!

Nobody has ever seen it and it was panned by the critics but i don't think I've ever laughed so much at a film! Completely ridiculous and cheesy but I guess it just appeals to my silly sense of humour.
