have loads I'm sure (I can't think of many rn) but Van Helsing with Hugh Jackman is one of my favourites!

Vampires, werewolves a Dracula I have an inappropriate crush on a badass heroine, bit of cheesyness , adventure and all the things in between. An overall great light-hearted watch for me.

Just discovered it's on Netflix and my evening is sorted 😁.

AIBU to ask what are you fav films which the majority doesn't appreciate?

Loved Cry Baby. And A Good Year (I visited the vin yard in France!!) Robin Hood is awesome. Hudson Hawke, Twilight, and 50 shades.

BeaLola · 05/08/2019 14:16

A good Year

The Hugh Jackman film with Nicole Kidman - is it called Australia ?

When Harry met Sally

SweetSummerchild · 05/08/2019 14:24

OK, I’m going to go the other way round and name a film beloved by just about everybody that I LOATHE.

Grease

Horrible plot, awful characters and dreadful music.

AllTheWhoresOfMalta · 05/08/2019 14:34

The Woody Allen film Match Point. One of the nicer reviews describe it as “Match Point is what happens when a veteran director whom many considered far past his prime tries something superficially different.”
But I like it. It is kind of clunky and the dialogue is a bit strained, but for some reason I just love it.

Also love Three Men and a Baby/Little Lady, Family Man with Nicholas Cage (53% on rotten tomatoes) and Superbad.

SteelRiver · 05/08/2019 14:37

Coyote Ugly. I loved it then and still do!

PutyourtoponTrevor · 05/08/2019 14:45

I quite like Love Actually

londonrach · 05/08/2019 14:48

Mrsjayy · 05/08/2019 14:51

I love Hugh the mostest Grin but Van helsing is so so bad just an abomination of a film it is so bad even Hugh doesn't speak of it!

Xmen 2 was the worst of the Xmen films it is my favourite for all of it's rubbishness.

Dhalandchips · 05/08/2019 14:51

Highlander - a French man trying to do a Scottish accent, cheesy, unfathomable plot, nonsense!! Love it😂

Mrsjayy · 05/08/2019 14:54

👍Highlander love it

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 05/08/2019 14:54

Waterworld - Kevin Costner
Gothic - Gabriel Byrne (phwoar)
Legend - Tom Cruise with bad teeth and Tim Curry as a very sexy demon (double phwoar)

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 05/08/2019 14:55

Mrsjayy · 05/08/2019 14:59

End of Days with Arnie and Gabriel (phwoar) Byrne as lucifer is probably one of my favourite films Miriam Margolyes is a satanic worshipping nanny in it what more can you ask for !

RainbowAlicorn · 05/08/2019 15:01

28 weeks later, everyone I know prefers 28 days later, I cant stand it.
I also love Jurassic park 3, but the first is still my favourite.

Willow2017 · 05/08/2019 15:21

Highlander god yes I love it Christopher, Clancy and Sean all in one film! (and who wouldn't want to be 'Heather'??)

End of days s/a and Gabriel Byrne to boot (swoon)

Any 'Jurassic' film. (A life without a wild imagination is not worth it in my book 😉)

CensorshipHereIsAJoke · 05/08/2019 16:17

LuckyBitches · 05/08/2019 16:41

Another vote for 'Showgirls'. It's like watching a neon car crash.

Mrsjayy · 05/08/2019 16:45

Showgirls pool sex scene is urm interesting

KC225 · 05/08/2019 16:47

Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly

Karate Kid new one with Jayden Smith

Judge Dredd with Sylvester Stallone

ScreamingValenta · 05/08/2019 16:50

The Nicolas Cage version of 'Left Behind'.

'Holiday on the Buses' (although this wouldn't have been an unpopular opinion in 1973 when it was one of the highest grossing films in the UK!)

ChickenTikkaTellMeWhatsWrong · 05/08/2019 16:57

I also love Bruce Almighty and The Punisher with John Travolta in it, it's one of my favourite Marvel movies

PeoplesFrontOfJudith · 05/08/2019 17:26

I love bad disaster movies like The Day after Tomorrow and Volcano.

Hansel & Gretal
Battleship
Both a bit of brainless fun.

Love The Craft and Practical Magic!
