Getting kids featured on Beano

My kids are massive Beano fans. Those of you familiar with Beano will know that kids are regularly 'drawn' as part of the Beano Mag. Anyone any idea how you can get your kids (2 daughters) featured, ideally on the back page. I've emailed multiple times, and had zero replies. Just wondering if I need to phone or plead or pay or something.

I'd call the head office of DC Thomson (01382 223131) and ask to be put through to the Beano.
There's no guarantee your email isn't accidentally going into a spam inbox.

There'll be some nepotism involved, mark my words. The kids featured will probably be related to the artists and/or stakeholders.
