To not go tonight

Was at close relatives wedding earlier in the week, just for immediate family because of budget restraints, was a lovely day, no problems.

Tonight is their bigger party/reception for wider family and friends which we have been looking forward to for ages, (more thsn the wedding lol). Unfortunately last night I came down with d&v and was up all night, I’m knackered and in a lot of pain with cramps etc, my husband thinks il be fine in 8 hrs and should man up and go but I think if I’ve got a bug I should probably stay at home and not infect others?
I know I’m right btw but I’m going to get a lot of flak from him and his family if I don’t go

Obviously don't go , if dh and family give you hassle for not going then you could go and throw up on dh and family and say I told you so .
Seriously d &v you stay home it's not a cold so to man up he is Bu .

He can surely go without you, taking any DC with him.

Yeah, don't go. I wouldn't wish d&v on any of your relatives or their kids it's highly contagious.

If partner wants to go let him, get him. To take kids if their feeling OK. Let your body recover.
