Just that, really...

Go for it!! Do what makes you happy! Grin

susihol · 02/08/2019 19:41

What's an undercut?

newmomof1 · 02/08/2019 19:42

No YANBU. I think you're pretty brave actually... I'm 23 and wouldn't dream of a Hollywood wax Blush

Dutch1e · 02/08/2019 19:43

I don't even know what a Hollywood Wax is but an undercut is almost always a good choice!

Sparklesocks · 02/08/2019 19:43

Go for it, why not!

The only things to consider is 1) the wax might leave you a bit chillier Grin and 2) the undercut is apparently a nightmare when it comes to regrowing it (unless you decide to stick with it for a long time!)

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 02/08/2019 19:44

I’m surprised at 57 you still have enough for a Hollywood wax.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 02/08/2019 19:46

YANBU. Life is too short to want to try new things and hold back because of your age.

Montsti · 02/08/2019 19:48

I wouldn’t go for the undercut but yes to the Hollywood!

NoGoodAtHousework · 02/08/2019 19:56

Do it, I love my undercut, I have loads of hair though! And couldn't manage the heat of my head with the extra!

And Hollywood....it also is totally worth it, it doe hurt though. Painkiller up first!

SpoonBlender · 02/08/2019 19:59

NoGood "Painkiller up first!"

Phrasing!

Zoidbergonthehalfshell · 02/08/2019 20:00

Wow, that's a much more positive response than I was expecting! Thanks! I've always believed that we don't stop playing because we get old, we get old because we stop playing, and having come to terms with the legacy from my (now deceased) narc mother and accepted that my DB will only ever contact me when he wants something, I'm starting to live my life for me again.

@Chardonnay, yes, I still have plenty. But it's gone grey. It's not a good look...

DramaAlpaca · 02/08/2019 20:00

Do it!

Zoidbergonthehalfshell · 02/08/2019 20:02

@Nogood, thanks for the advice - I hadn't thought of that! What style of undercut would you recommend?

OP posts:
growlingbear · 02/08/2019 20:03

What on earth is an undercut? I thought a Hollywood got rid of everything anyway?

4SimpleWords · 02/08/2019 20:06

go for it! Have a tattoo as well... why the hell not

User55234 · 02/08/2019 20:08

I am 60, nearly 61, what is an undercut? I remove a lot of what I can, OH, 54, shaves, his choice.

pickleface · 02/08/2019 20:08

Do it. I love my undercut. Not brave enough to wax my fanjo though.

Zoidbergonthehalfshell · 02/08/2019 20:09

@4SimpleWords - already have three of those Wink

OP posts:
boosterrooster · 02/08/2019 20:09

Go for it!!!

Is it your first ever Hollywood?! If so, have a drink or 2 before you go in coz the first one hurts like hell.

tealandteal · 02/08/2019 20:11

Just googled undercut, seems like a good idea especially in the summer! For the Hollywood go somewhere that does hot wax, it makes all the difference.

Advisemeplease1 · 02/08/2019 20:13

I have both and I'm nearly 50!

TakeMe2Insanity · 02/08/2019 20:13

And why not? As long as you want to. Go for it.

lickencivers · 02/08/2019 20:14

Do it

The undercut sounds scarier than the Hollywood Grin

Anniegetyourgun · 02/08/2019 20:15

One of the great things about getting older is not having to give a pair of fingers what other people think. You are quite big enough to make your own decisions - whose hair and body is it anyway? Besides, depending on the style, an undercut isn't by any means exclusively a young person's look (a quick Google shows a sprinkling of older models who look pretty amazing), and anyone who would judge you for a Hollywood wax wouldn't be invited to admire it anyway Wink

justasking111 · 02/08/2019 20:18

I was told by a waxer a young womans private parts are plump and a rosy colour an older womans sort of a shade of bloodless grey and no longer plump. Not sure I want to see that. Grin
