Used a weekly payment flooring company to put flooring in a room downstairs in my house, and the work they've done is awful. They haven't sealed the edges, haven't even stuck the vinyl down in places and the edges are ripped and cut so badly, have sent the pictures to a friend who is a floor fitter by trade and he agrees, it's bad.
This was months ago, and since then I've been passed from pillar to post about it, waited in all day for someone from the company to come and look at it today, and they never turned up! Have emailed several times today as can't get through on the phone, and no response.
It's in a high traffic area and I have a toddler and a kitten so stuff is getting under the vinyl now Confused
I don't want to do anything like stick it down myself or seal the edges incase it further compounds the problem now I've complained, but it really feels like they're dodging sorting this one out.
What are my next steps? In total paying about £500 for this terrible job!

I'd start a claim in the small claims court, to try and get your money back. Often, once they realise you plan to go through with this, they will do something. You could also contact the consumer page of one of the national newspapers, or contact Which, though I think they only help members (NB, you can get free membership for a limited time - you just need to remember to cancel).
