To think Costco has the gold standard of car parks and other car parks should have their lines redone to mimic Costco's?

So when you go to Costco, the car park has lines drawn in such a way that it is like a square. This is great because it allows people to open the door properly and (usually) stops people from parking badly in a way that stops you from being able to open the door.

I think this is great for some people with children, since they can park anywhere with a car seat instead of the favoured few that are always taken. I also think this is great for people who do not qualify for a BB but still have mobility issues.

I think currently cars have become too wide for the way lines are drawn, so you have people who take up 2 spaces unnecessarily.

I know not every car park has ample amount of space, but for the ones that do, wouldn't it be more beneficial to make the spaces a bit wider?

I love them. I really dislike when it's just a single line.

They’re a really good idea. But the real problem is all the people who have never learnt how to park and still go over the lines.

The small Asda near me has those - the full size massive Asda doesn't though. I think its a great idea.

They’re like the spaces in Oz, large enough. I think space is a premium in this country, so spaces are smaller (which is a pita).

YABU to show me this and thus destroy my faith in all the carparks in my local area which now seem complete shit.
