Or at all really?
Colleague and I were driving to a meeting running late because of roadwork detour. Colleague had offered to drive because she knew the way.
We're at a busy intersection, the light turns red as we approach, she speeds up and signals for a right turn. Onto a double carriage way! She says, "Hold on I'm just gonna...". The light was properly red and traffic was starting to move from the sides.
Out of fear I shouted, "Please no!" and she stopped. I went on to say, "Do that when you're alone n the car, not with me".
The meeting went okay and then I made my own way home.
I'm never driving with her again obvs, but it's really made me doubt her judgement about everything, and whether she's actually okay.
