What can we actually do to prepare for ‘no deal’?

Perplexed that the government is planning to spend upwards of £100 million on raising public awareness of the need to plan for this.

Aside from making sure you have more than six months on your passport, moving your pension, if you have one, into the most ‘secure’ fund possible, investing in boxed sets of positive and heart-warming ‘British’ Sunday night mini-series’ eg Foyle etc and stocking up on tinned food, what else are we ordinary people actually expected to do to ‘prepare’?

love this Grin

I think Gov't is spending it on advertising primarily aren't they? with the aim of keeping Bojo as PM. Or maybe they'll send us packets of seeds or something, water purifying tablets.

Well, as we're all going to literally die when the U.K. leaves the EU, if it ever does. Nothing is the answer, just like every other thread on this, there is fuck all the users of Mumsnet can do to change any Government decisions
