Iabvvvu, as know I'm in a fortunate position, so answered my own question, but need talking down!!!
Moving at end of week after 17 yrs, and anxiety is through the roof!!!
Anything I could worry about I am, from removal van getting stuck, not fitting everything in, new neighbours hate us, we hate the house etc etc, once I've dealt with one issue something replaces it!!! Emotions also all over place, current house has lots of memories, good, bad and some awful, but home has always been my 'safe space'. Everyone else here is really excited, I'm convinced something terrible will happen!🙄
Anyway sorry for waffling, just need to get it out and don't want to put dampener on everyone else's excitement.

It's scary to leave your home after 17 years. You're probably sad about that as well as excited about the new place. The sadness is a bit hard to face so instead it's feeding the anxiety. Let yourself feel the sadness and perhaps you'll feel calmer. Remind yourself that this home was new once and you made it into a home.

Thank you, sorry for late reply-I missed the post!! Yes, think you're right about the anxiety masking other emotions. I'm not good with change in general so think it's bound to be impacting. Just trying to get on top of anxiety now ready for new house!! Hopefully mountains of boxes and unpacking will help...... 😂
Thanks again xx

Have you moved yet? I think it's really exciting moving house! And yes, if its feeling scary, the large amount of boxes which need unpacking will be a great distraction.

Hi, yes moved yesterday. All went smoothly. Bit emotional, and now anxiety about new house, but I know that once I get anxious I worry about everything!!
Thank you again for replying!! 😁
