My boobs are enormous from breastfeeding. (or should I say boob. One doesn't produce milk. Yes, they look awful). I am struggling to find one that really holds me in place....

Shock Absorber

bridgetreilly · 28/07/2019 23:16

Shock Absorber. Those boobs are not going anywhere. No metal or underwires. Super-comfy.

opinionatedfreak · 28/07/2019 23:33

34h.

Shock absorber active d+ support.

I have loads of them (?5). Periodically one gets a bit saggy and I get a new one.

hippopootamus · 28/07/2019 23:46

Shock absorber are great. If you want something cheaper, me and my FF cups run marathons in this and theres no bounce, really comfy! www.decathlon.co.uk/run-bra-black-pink-id_8519273.html

I am a 34G and love these sports bras

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/07/2019 11:29

I've just googled how to get the shock absorber ultimate run bra on as I want to try one today and last time I couldn't get the top clip done up.

According to MN you do the top clip up then pull it on overhead and do up the bottom one when you are all in place.

I shall try that out.

timeforachangeagain · 29/07/2019 11:36

Bravissimo is my go to place, mine are usually around £40 but I think they have a sale on at the moment.

Shoppingwithmother · 29/07/2019 11:44

24hourhomeedder if you are not obese and just have very large breasts then you must be wearing the wrong size bra at a 46J.

You would surely need to go much smaller in the back size and larger on the cup size - then you might be able to find something in Bravissimo sports bra range that would be right for you.

Shoppingwithmother · 29/07/2019 11:46

I really like the Bravissimo Inspire bra, which is under wired and goes up to a 40L

Londonmummy66 · 29/07/2019 13:48

I'm the same size as you and I use a Freya 32E (ie down a cup) underwired - rock solid boobs......

makingmyway10 · 29/07/2019 13:51

Another vote for Elomi here. I have not found a better sports bra then the Elomi Energise, about £40 I think.

Oysterbabe · 29/07/2019 13:56

This is a timely thread for me. I swear I could hear actual flapping during my run on Sunday. I'll have a look at some of these.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/07/2019 14:03

After visiting a running shop and bravissimo, an assistant at John Lewis sorted me out. It took a lot of jiggling and throwing all modesty to the wind, but I've ended up with a shock absorber active support bra. Their ultimate run bras need 'more projection' said the lady. Turns out that running has shrunk my boobs (hoorah)

I'll let you know after tonight's run.

123rd · 29/07/2019 14:05

Defo shock absorbers for running/ anything more than Pilates BlushI'm a 32f

lovelilies · 29/07/2019 14:06

Following for 30FF daughter. Panache ones nipped under her arms. Supermarket ones don't do anything.

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 29/07/2019 14:07

Not RTFT but I can definitely recommend the Enell. Yes, it's pricey but maybe you could go on ebay and try get one second hand? It really does the job (and it should, given that it takes about an hour to get it on!)

The shock absorber ones are good but I will wear one of those over a regular bra (just to be safe!)

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2019 14:11

@TrailGrazer
For clicky links

Type 2 square opening brackets:
[[
Then paste your link, don’t leave a space
Then leave a single space and type the word you want to be clicky eg: bra, here, etc
Then type 2 square close brackets ]]

That’s it.

Eg

bra

But don’t leave the gap between “bra” and ]]. I just left it in so it didn’t turn into a link!

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2019 14:13

Pants!! My example turned into a link!!!

Do this

[[link Clicky word
And close with ]]

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2019 14:14

Pants!!!

Do this, but all in one line
[[
Link
Space
Clicky word
]]

BikeRunSki · 29/07/2019 14:15

I give up

2 square open brackets - link -space - clcky word - 2 square closed brackets

EllaEllaE · 29/07/2019 14:27

Enell!

from a large-boobed lady runner :-)

Expensive and not especially attractive, but they are AMAZING. Nothing moves, no pinching, no wire but total support up to very large sizes. If you want a serious sports bra, not just something that looks pretty, this is what you need.
