AIBU to ask what words you'd ban?

JRM's style guide made me think about this. Top of my list would be "hun", followed closely by "Crimbo" and "hubby".

What words would you love never to have to read or hear again?

Using "super" instead of "very" - as in "I was super excited."

It does my head in.

Also - "with regards to" (incorrect) instead of "with regard to" (correct).

I agree with the c word and examples of poor grammar, but have to admit to using tummy and cuppa. I hadn't expected those to be on anybody's list!

Awesome .. I can not stand the word awesome.. BUT I do get where he is coming from.. I get itchy at bed grammar. SoCial media drives me mad. But the esq thing is off the scale. I’m old school though. Despite being digital I still do a two space after a full stop

Starting sentences with "So".

"I went out the door" (missing out "of" in this example).

"I started a new role" (what happened to "jobs"?)

Actually, this use of the word "role" instead of "job" is starting to make me unreasonably furious nowadays.
