Posting for traffic.

I was born at 32 weeks and everything I read online says that premature mothers are more likely to have premature births. I am 29 weeks now and wondering how many of you who were premature as babies went on to have their babies prematurely and how early were they?

Our DD was born at 29 weeks, she is now 34 and has 3 children, they all went to 41 weeks.

I think that’s nonsense. I know a few people who were prem themselves who have gone to term. There’s a host of factors that determine a baby being born prem.

I was premature and my children were both 7+ days overdue

I was born at 33 weeks, DS was born at 37+6, but another fifteen minutes and it would've been bang on 37 weeks, so not really prem at all.

Where did you see this research?

I think I was a week overdue. I went onto have 4 babies born at 30+1, 33+6 and 34. No reason found for any of them, my body just can't cope obviously.
