I've had one in the same location for about 16 years. It was removed about 11 years ago on the NHS as it got repeatedly infected but unfortunately not very well (the surgery took about 7 minutes so unsurprising!). Since then it has grown back steadily, and grew back faster whilst I was pregnant with DS. Now it is 2+ inches across and very raised so it's very unsightly and needs excising again but NHS won't do the op any more 
Has anyone else had one removed going private and how much did it cost in all?
