Just found out I’m pregnant with no.2 & DH away

DH is out of the country for work until the end of August. We’ve been trying for baby #2 for a few months now and this morning I just got 3 positive tests.
He has awful Wi-fi and sometimes no signal at all.
Should I tell him over the phone?? Wait till he’s home? I have no clue what to do!! It’s our first wedding anniversary at the beginning of the month.
AIBU to wait till he’s home to tell him so I can tell him in person and see his reaction? I’m so confused!!

Aww I would wait till he's home. I might even be tempted to wait till the wedding anniversary! It will be so much more special in person.

I’m not one for big announcements but I think telling him on your wedding anniversary over the phone would be nice. Could you FaceTime/video all him?

Congratulations! I found out I was pregnant while on holiday but I only had a few days until I could tell DP face to face. To me face to face was important but I can understand why you'd want to tell him sooner given he's going to be away for so long!

You wouldn't be unreasonable either way imo. If the wifi is bad could you text him a photo of the test or get together a few baby bits with a 'I'm pregnant' sign?

DH was at the opposite end of the country when I got the BFP for DC1. I phoned him instantly!
