Link is here.....Warning - the link is distressing

That father’s distress and horror.

That amazing little girl’s courage - clinging onto her baby sister despite having a building collapse on top of her.

I am really upset. I cannot stop crying. I cannot shake it off. Where is humanity? Somebody’s babies are dead. Why? Why has this got to me so badly? Is it because I have children? I am angry that a father had to witness this.

Those poor little babies. That brave little girl. Her little hand reaching out clinging to her sister despite what her little body and mind has experienced. I am in bits. When is this pointless gut wrenching bloodshed going to end? Sorry, just needed to put this out there. The horror of it has really got to me.

theday I absolutely agree that you need someone to witness and report but editorial decisions are made all the time. Testimonies are edited. Photos are with-held.

I am not disagreeing with you there.

I also believe that in many cases, more locals, the NAMES of the people involved should be kept private and brings nothing to the story - at least for a reasonable time allowing to contact friends and families.

I am not a fan of the press at all for many reasons Grin but on principle, making the rest of the world aware of what is happening is a necessity. Unless the scoop put people in danger...

Is there a way of stopping the carnage in Syria? Why is the world not doing anything about it? That picture upsets me so much as it makes me think of my own dd and I thank God that I am not in a war ravaged place.

Syria, it was an amazing place. What happened? What went wrong? Who did this? Who is doing this?

I think it is important to see these pictures and help in any small way that we can.

I haven't followed the link, but by what you've stated - I think it sums up the price humans are paying for others greed.
Life is worthless it seems. be it animals, humans climate etc etc.
So long as some cunt can stash away billions for himself, said cunt couldn't give a toss about the suffering caused.

I often daydream that I had the power to pass a curse on all forms of religion, murderers, paedophiles and cunts that view fortune over humanity.

In my daydreams the world becomes a whole lot less populated.
