To want to know the outcome of some threads

I've read alot of threads, some funny and alot very sad.
I love it when a thread has an update, especially if it's a positive update; however there are lots of threads that don't have an ending and I'd love to know what the outcome was.
One of mine is the softzilla, I do wonder what's happened with that up to now?
Anyone else need updates?!!!

Not all the threads are trolls, some go silent because of legal involvement. And I'm pretty sure I saw something to that effect on the softzilla thread. As for the door in the wall threads, I did see a post from MNHQ at one point that the poster wasn't a troll as far as they knew.

The one outcome I've wanted to know but which never got posted was one where the OP was getting married and her DSis was threatening to get her nephew's hair dyed green for the wedding (he was involved in some way) and the OP was stressing that the DSis meant it. I wanted to know if the nephew did show up with green hair.

I would love to know if Bonsoir is ok. She used to post a lot and then someone mentioned she had been very ill.

I loved reading about her life in Paris.

I remember that one. It was an office in a converted mill in Essex I think.
Writing on the walls, doors flying open, things moving around by themselves. I was very interested in that thread and I was sorry when mumsnet took it down

That’s the one, clearly a work of fiction but dammit I wanted to know how the story ended!

I want to know about the lady who was having her doorbell ring all the time too and had an attractive daughter on social media.

And another person who had a car parked outside her house every night.

Would also love to know how Bonsoir is. She drove me crazy but was very interesting. Her daughter must be well into her teens now.

What became of the lady whose neighbours accused her of having a dog with the same name as the husband? She went round to personally respond to their strange letter and the wife was really weird

I wondered about the OP with a teen DS going to Texas to stay with an online GF.

There was a poster a few years ago who left a twatty husband and returned with a couple of kids to UK from abroad, maybe the Middle East.
It was quite long running and he was awful.
OP had Lavender in her user name.
I often wonder if she is ok.

Same as PP about the lady with the strategically incompetent husband and the coffee cup/cafetiere left for her to wash.

There was a thread recently where the OP was going away with female friends (one of whom was paying for the trip) and one of their group wanted to bring her husband. Group said no but husband was trying to find out where they were staying, including phonecalls to the villa owner, because he’d already booked flights. OP was concerned he was just going to show up and bully his way into their holiday.

I hope he didn’t need turn up and that OP and her friends had a good (and peaceful) holiday.

The mum who posted a few weeks ago after her son and his friends got drunk and sent videos to teachers. She and the rest of the parents were called in to a meeting with the school but she didn't know why or what these videos involved. It must have been something serious but the thread disappeared

Brightyellowdaffodil OP posted an update at the end of the thread to say the 3 of them had a terrific holiday - no sign of Carol or strange husband - and it sounds like they have gone pretty much NC with them now.

The one with the note in the hedge, where hundreds of posters chimed in to try to identify the language/letters of a folded note found in a hedge along with a 2p (??) coin. I hope it wasn't fake.

@Lockheart I think hadthesnip2 meant the resolution they, meaning the writer, deserved. Not the people giving advice.

It drives me nuts when someone insists every second post on here is a 'troll' post. Softzilla was proven to be genuine. In fact, I'd say almost none of the posts are troll posts. It makes me roll my eyes that some troll hunters genuinely believe that a) these things do not happen, when will all know they DO happen and that b) anyone would bother coming on here to invent something. Seriously.

I wonder how Coats is doing. I hope that all her planning paid off.

I also wonder about this and hope it all worked out for her.
