Just had a mammoth two and a half hour journey home from work on the tube and bus because all trains have stopped running to my station. Sweating in places I didn’t know I had sweat glands. Just taken all of my clothes off and flopped on the sofa with the fan on.

DH is at work and DC are at my MILs so they are not exposed to my display

I need to go and pick the kids up from nursery but am stalling and currently sitting on my bed in just pants with a fan pointed straight at me! 😩

A PPs suggestion of an iced drink won’t help. It feels like it does, but it just tells your body you aren’t hot as it cools the core. Cup of tea is the answer.
Also, I find loose clothes cooler than no clothes, but I appreciate your nakedness is a temporary energy gathering measure!

Myself, DH and DC are all sat watching Moana in our underwear. Cannot deal with this weather!

Laughing at the disgust at lying naked on furniture. Frankly, given what’s on the average tube seat (especially in this weather), I think it would probably be more disgusting to lie on the couch in your clothes.

I would be fully naked if my teenagers weren't about. The older I get the more nakedness appeals

Sat on a towel OK, otherwise not. Shower first as well please, for your own dignity if nothing else.

I have pants on and a wet vest. I'm 32wks pregnant and flopping semi naked anywhere possible at the moment. Poor DH got home last night to the sight of me naked on the bed with several fans on me and surrounded by ice packs.
