To ask you to help me reunite a lovely dog with its owner.

I live in the North West my lovely friend has found a gorgeous staffy boy registered to an address in the Langsett road area of Wolverhampton. We have taken it to the vet and had it scanned but the details are out of date so we turn to the internet. I said I'd post here as I know we are all capable of creating miracles. If anybody knows of a family on Langsett Road in Wolverhampton who has lost a family pet he is obviously loved or if anyone lives round the corner and could knock on the door we might be able to reunite a lovely boy with his family. We have his name and details so dont worry we will not be handing the dog over to any old person who rocks up.Thanks in advance

Inform the dog warden as well - many lost dogs remain lost due to 'theft by finding'.. the person who finds them keeps them or rehomes them without taking the legally required steps of contacting the dog warden and having the dog do his 7 days in the pound.

I would suggest contacting Raven’s Rescue Dudley, I think Sarah covers Wolverhampton or could suggest some local contacts. Register the dog on dogs lost too and have a look through their missing pages. Animal lifeline on Facebook have a network of transporters, home checkers and rescues across the UK so might be worth trying the group also for anyone local. Good luck!

Please tell your friend to call sunnyside dog kennels (local kennels to Wolverhampton) 01902 790618 chances are the family who have lost the dog have contacted the kennels to see if he's been handed in.
