To ask what deodorant you use?

I sweat a lot, especially in this heat. I hate stinking of bo. I shower daily and have used various different deodorants but nothing seems to help.

What deodorants do you all use?

Mitchum Powder Fresh

Sanex roll on, the 48hr one but I reapply each day.

Salt crystals are the best. Last summer I switched from stronger deodorant like Mitchum as I was finding that I smelled more and more and was smelling as soon as I started to sweat even slightly. Faith in nature is good, as is salt of the earth. Took me a while for the antiperspirant to weaR off my skin but it was so worth it

I don't get sweaty at all but use Neal's Yard geranium & lavender.

I use men's Sure stick. I've tried Mitchem and other but men's are definitely better.

I've never used spray because I've never felt confident enough.!

Sure Maximum Protection. Really good and lasts for ages

I used to use Mitchum but now use Lidl's roll on and find it better - not a drop of sweat! I use the one that claims not to leave marks on clothes and it lives up to the claim.

Me and DH both use Salt of the Earth, it lasts ages. No marks, no smells. When this one finally runs out though, I want to buy a similar product but without the plastic casing.

Another one for Mitchum Powder Fresh- has worked perfectly for me for 10 yrs at least- even in the currently sweltering UK

I like Rightguard Spray as I find roll ons never ever dry and I end up with sticky sore pits, I sweat through Sure and Dove and end up very whiffy, but not with Rightguard.

Do you wash your underarms with soap or shower gel? I switched to soap because I found it was much better at cleaning off underarm sweat than gel and i don't get that old sweat smell at the end of a hot day anymore. Doesn't stop you sweating obviously, but as pp mentioned fresh sweat shouldn't smell. (Dove bar isn't soap btw, it's solid shower gel)

bluepheasant I’m so pleased I’m not the only one as a friend told me aobut Salt of the Earth and it’s amazing.
I used to use Mitchum when really needed to feel safe as I sweat at lot when hot and it made me feel quietly worried what was in it. I find Salt of the Earth is so reliable but more natural and It never lets me or DD down ( she used to have days when other deodorants wore off or weren’t enough ).

I have noticed a big difference in odour control since I switched to bar soap instead of shower gel. I use imperial leather or dettol soap and then Mitchum roll on deodorant. I now don't smell of B.O. anymore. Changing my diet to include more water, fruit & veg & less processed meats has helped enormously too.

Aldi own brand (Lacuna?). Has a nice fresh scent and is surprisingly effective.

I have switched to sure cream roll on as the spray actually gave me the most horrific rash. So much so I can't use spay anymore without it happening. I only switched about a month ago and it's cleared right up now

I sweat horrendously! I swear by washing with proper soap (detol is my favourite)no BO using that. then I use triple dry spray AND Mitchum spray a skoosh of each.

In this weather I use the stuff you apply at night and literally stops sweating, driclor, odaban etc. The only thing with it is you need to apply it to bone dry skin I blast pits with a hairdryer to stop it irritating.

Sure spray on, the 48hr one in the black and white can that doesn't leave marks. I get it from the poundshop. Does the job.

I would say sanex or mitchum roll on are best followed by sure roll on.

Was your pits with antibacterial soap, keep them well shaved and make sure your clothes aren't making you smell. I use detol antibacterial wash additive and it is great.

If it's really hot or I've got a special event where I don't want to sweat I will use driclor.
