Center parcs Ireland

We love centre parcs and for the last four years we have travelled to England each summer to visit. For the last two years we've also brought my dsis and her family.

Centre parcs is opening in Ireland next week, needless to say we are delighted. No overnights in hotels and ferries to deal with, and we can take a friend each for my Dcs.

We are only back from Sherwood in june. We tried to book longford for September on their come back soon offer but were surprised to see it wasn't valid for Ireland even though they are calling themselves Centre parcs uk and Ireland now.

We decided to book for September here anyway and on researching discovered that centre parcs are offering families from England 25% off ferries with a ferry company, €50 to spend on site and 2 day passes. There is nothing for Irish customers

Is it unreasonable for me to be really annoyed at this?

Yes it's our choice to travel but to not even give us the come back soon offer in my opinion is really wrong.

I emailed them yesterday with my issues and have had no response.

Am I being unreasonable?

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the come back soon offer to apply and I hope they get back to you on that.

It's not surprising that they're are offering deals on travelling by ferry to Ireland - the Irish market is way too small for Center Parcs Ireland to survive on; it is absolutely essential that they get a lot of people travelling over. But it's a real shame that they're not offering the same deal for Irish customers travelling to the UK Center Parcs sites. That said, it's because they don't have to - those UK locations will thrive without the Irish market, the Irish Center Parcs is sunk if they don't get UK visitors.

But it would be nice if they treated all of their customers equally. So YANBU at all, I'd be cross too!

I completely agree CP ireland will be heavily reliant on uk customers and they will need to tempt them.

I'm really peed off about the come back soon offer. It's not even that much. It the principle of it.

Im certainly not looking something for nothing. We always go away mid September. It leaves me feeling completely unvalued as a customer.
