Or are they an absolutely shattered, hot, sweaty, irritable grumpy mess like mine is?

Anyone who's baby is asleep....congratulations

10month old was fast asleep by 7pm, but she has an amazing tower fan in her room, so it was cool.
The 3&4 yr olds took about 45 mins to fall asleep. They have a ceiling fan but it's not quite as effective.

NEtoN10 · 23/07/2019 21:28

I can never get DS (6 months) to sleep before 10pm ever😩

EAIOU · 23/07/2019 21:30

Baby has been asleep a few hours. Not a lover of heat combined with teething 🙄 poor soul.

I think all of them are feeling it.

chilledteacher · 23/07/2019 21:31

Hot sweaty mess with an odd cheese smell about him 🤔 (which is probably the sweat...)

HesTheFastestKidAlive · 23/07/2019 21:31

I'm not one to moan about the heat.....except I am and I hate it right now

Grin made me chuckle

Oysterbabe · 23/07/2019 21:31

Mine is asleep but I've had to resettle him once already and he's sweating his balls off.

TheFastandCurious · 23/07/2019 21:34

I have an 18 month old who has only had a ten minute nap today yet at half nine at night is still rolling round wide awake in bed. Confused

sarahfairy · 23/07/2019 21:54

Gone at last....same time tomorrow anyone?

5 month old and not long asleep here after 2 very short naps today. Poor thing is hating this heat!!

Owlbert · 23/07/2019 22:12

10 month old asleep since 6pm in just her nappy, so sleep not affected but she has eaten and drank a lot less in the heat than normal despite my best efforts!

IncyWincy23 · 23/07/2019 22:17

@NEtoN10 I feel your pain give or take 30 minutes 😩.

Tallgreenbottle · 23/07/2019 22:17

He was just asleep after a tepid bath calmed him down.

Then some shithead teenagers wandered down the road and pretended to be screeching/fighting cats - cos that's dead funny obviously.

He is now a hysterical, overheated mess again.

ScruffGin · 23/07/2019 22:21

15 month old hot sweaty mess earlier, cool bath helped, then about 40 minutes of settling followed by squawking, repeatedly.
Keeps waking up since, crying a little then self settling, but I think it's going to be a long night...

NEtoN10 · 23/07/2019 22:24

@IncyWincy23 it's terrible isn't it 😅 I have a night owl for sure!

foreverhanging · 23/07/2019 22:25

She went. And now she is back.

Has anyone else literally not had a second to themselves today?

Dh said 'this is sort of what we signed up for' after he wanders in after work (been away since Monday morning) and I'm sitting here with tonsilitis child, and haven't been left alone all day and night and haven't washed my hair since Saturday. WIBU to commit murder?

TheBabyAteMyBrain · 23/07/2019 22:28

6 month old has finally given in.

2yr old is putting up a fight still. I'm just going to leave him and go to bed myself at this rate.

ChaChaDeGregorio · 23/07/2019 22:28

17 month old dd put to bed in just nappy... takes nappy off and walks around the cot waving it... nappy put back on... takes nappy off, wets the cot, etc

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 23/07/2019 22:29

17 months was down by 9.10 after a big song and dance - literally, we have been sung and clapped at in the cot the past few nights before they spark out! Just in a nappy though.

We shoved some ice cubes in the cool mist machine along with putting the fan on. It bought the temp down by only 0.2 degrees and it's just gone back up anyway 🥵

Smurf123 · 23/07/2019 22:29

16 month old just asleep...in his pram though as couldn't get him to settle any other way

TheBabyAteMyBrain · 23/07/2019 22:29

@foreverhanging happy to be your albi if you'll be mine. I could cheerfully throttle dh tonight.

Ivehadthisnamemostofmylife · 23/07/2019 22:31

My 4 month old has been asleep since 7pm...but did include a drive in the car to calm down and then feeding in the car with air con on as she was just too grumpy to have a proper feed otherwise

BertieBotts · 23/07/2019 22:32

In a short sleeve/leg romper suit here, no vest. Though his legs felt cold so I put a blanket on him Confused

ChaCha try pull ups maybe?

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 23/07/2019 22:34

Does anyone want to swap a baby for the 9 year old who's lying at my feet humming Christmas carols? Hmm

taylorlynn · 23/07/2019 22:35

10 month old bed time at 7 took an hour and a half to actually get her to sleep. I'm exhausted!

NCforthis2019 · 23/07/2019 22:37

yeah - mine both went at about 7pm. Both quite tired though.
