Yip, been asleep since 6.30

10 month old went down just after 7 but it took an hour to settle him. He wanted to feed desperately but was so hot being next to me that he had to keep changing position!

Was asleep but up for a feed- very unusual for her, she must be so thirsty she's been on the boob all day!

We bought a 0.2 tog swaddle thing and parked ice packs in front of a fan to
Keep the room cool.... it's still 26 degrees!

Twin 1 -sleeping like an angel after feeding and crying all bloody day
Twin 2 -feeding and crying after judging twin 1 for the drama lama act all day.
DS5- sleeping under a fan with an ice water bottle under his feet

Two out of three ain’t bad, I just ate two ice lollies as a congratulations to myself..

Nine month has just taken ages to go to bed but that's because she napped from four till six, normally just a short nap at this time but oh no not today! Still wakes 2-4 times a night so it's me that's the hot sweaty zombie!

Mine isn't. And it's an hour later here and we have air con. I don't think he's hot I just think he's being a little turd :o

None of mine are asleep. Ages 9, 7, 4 and 1. We have not stopped today. Been on the go since and still they're awake. Argh!

Mine’s crashed out of the sofa next to looking pretty sparko but given how much she napped/fed/napped/fed/napped I expect we have a long probably quite awake night ahead of us... I had a cold shower and am in pants and a loose top trying to move as little as possible feeling less grumpy than I have all day. It’s still 26 inside now. Bastard weather.

What are your babies wearing to sleep or having as blankets? 3 week old over here, 3rd child but never had a summer newborn

DS 22mo has got to sleep about half an hour ago, got his kit off and his fan on him bless him he was a sweaty mess before. I’m having a cold glass of wine then a cold so shower and bed 😩

Mine went down fine at 7 but has woken up not very happy several times since!

@abigwhale A vest and nappy is what I put my summer newborn in back in 2016. My 14wo is just in a nappy atm but is bfing so I'm keeping him warm lol and vice versa! We bedshare.

My 8 month old has picked today of all days to cut his first tooth so apparently no one will be sleeping tonight! I'm sure he planned it on purpose! Help!

Thanks all, not swaddling him and breastfeeding so we are both warm!!! Probably just pop him in a vest when he decides to sleep. Not like I’m not awake to put more layers on if it cools overnight!

8.5 month old passed out at 7, woke at 7.30 for a feed and has been asleep since. However the last 3 nights he refused bed until after 9.30 so I think he just crashed!

Yes. We live in an old ish property and it is actually extremely cool inside in the way that they often are. Sorry...

Asleep at 7pm exhausted from a day at nursery then coming home to play in the garden. House is very cool though!

My 9mo has been asleep since about 7, however she always goes down easily and hasn't had a decent nap today so was shattered. I've put a fan in her room so hopefully she doesn't wake up multiple times hot and sticky!

Mines just rolling around on the bed not knowing what to do....Dd is also complaining that she can't sleep.

We are in France, first night of our holiday and we decided to drive to Austria (like utter idiots) 13 month old might just have fallen asleep. The screeching stopped at least. The rest of the hotel must hate us 😔
