...but that they make a really satisfying crunch when squashed with the end of the nit comb?

Please watch Victoria Wood talking about them!

I love getting the chance to pick at my children. Combing them out is sooo satisfying.

The little wagging legs as the nitty gritty maimed them...

I didn’t realise you can vote for your own thread. Currently 100% of respondents agree IANBU.

DW is on a mission this evening. DS10 is first up (that’s 10yo DS, not our 10th DS)

“I think you’ve broken its back mum but it’s legs are still moving”

Just don't smile when you kill them, or otherwise you'll come across as psychotic Grin

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 23/07/2019 20:39

We had a couple of months where I could not get rid of the feckers, I was contemplating shaving the children. Thank god it didn't come to that.

Crush one of the little bastards for me.

Seadragonusgiganticusmaximus · 23/07/2019 20:42

Both DW and DS have huge grins. It seems I married a psycho and sired more psychos. Shock

OK smiles have definitely faded now, so perhaps there’s hope. DS10 has been sent off to put his t-shirt in the wash (“well mum, it’s got tomato ketchup and hot chocolate on it anyway Grin”) and have a shower.

DW had a quick and fruitless go at DS20, including his beard, and has now headed off to the shower with the nit comb to, erm, “sort herself out” Shock

My son suffers with bad eczema and in the warm weather he gets it in his hair. He had a flare up a few months ago and had headlice at the same time. It was such a nightmare cos the not shampoo irritated his eczema and his eczema shampoo didn't get rid of the nits. I had many sleepless nights worrying about how to get rid of them and then to top it all some kids at school thought it was funny to point out his sore head and generally make fun of him. Why do kids have to be so cruel and insensitive?
