Tell me about your salad

So thanks to the sweltering heat it’s been salad for dinner every night since Saturday.

However, despite having “different” salads - it feels a bit samey and I’m running out of ideas (we’ve had goats cheese salad, Cesar salad and smoked mackerel and salad so far). I always tend to do the same variations on dressings too- so would love some new ideas.

Have been browsing bbc good food but not being inspired so far

Grilled salmon is always nice with salad, you can use salmon instead of tuna in a Niçoise salad.

Have you tried Jamie Oliver's quinoa salad with blackened chicken, it's delicious.

Tabbouleh is one of my all-time favourites.

Also Fattoush, a more recent discovery for me.

Thirdly, have you tried spinach salad—raw baby spinach leaves, very good tomatoes, mushrooms. Dress with olive oil and lemon juice or balsamic vinegar.
Add sliced boiled egg and/or bacon and/or feta if desired.

yesterday I had a ham hock waldorf , (left over ham from night before) all chopped up , with no celery I hate hate hate celery with honey and mustard dressing it was yum..tonight we are having flatbreads with rocket salad on side- ( I sware its not pizza but don't tell the ds) really little cooking involved pre-bought flatbreads so top and pop in oven,

A friend made me the most divine spinach, bacon and avo salad once. You add the bacon while it's hot, and put French dressing on too.
