WTF was that 'message' to Poland on such an important day! I mean Shock

I really hope those rumours of him being retired are true - he is incapable of original thought, just parrots the same shite in slightly different ways no matter the subject!

lionheart · 04/09/2019 21:54

Someone had to get a marker pen out for this one:

lionheart · 04/09/2019 22:00

Or a personalised Sharpie:

From the Business Insider piece:

Falsifying weather data is illegal
US law — specifically, Title 18, Section 2074 of the US Code — says that:

"Whoever knowingly issues or publishes any counterfeit weather forecast or warning of weather conditions falsely representing such forecast or warning to have been issued or published by the Weather Bureau, United States Signal Service, or other branch of the Government service, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ninety days, or both."

And this is what will get him impeached.Wink

PerkingFaintly · 05/09/2019 00:31

Oh that would be amazing! Like getting Al Capone for mail fraud.Grin

TheClaws · 05/09/2019 01:18

If he did do that - alter the map with a Sharpie - what an odd thing to do. Of course, the Trumpists are saying it’s no big deal. But for me, it’s just one more thing on top of a mountainous list of impeachable things he has done. Plus, he alarmed many thousands of people needlessly. He is not a leader.

lionheart · 05/09/2019 01:40

Someone else from the Weather Bureau will be lined up to take the blame: 'And here is the very Sharpie I used.'

AcrossthePond55 · 05/09/2019 02:14

The fake map story is on Rachel now. They're showing the picture of Scrotus and the altered map. Altered to show that Dorian was on track to hit....wait for it.....Alabama.

This is just more of his insanity. Nothing will happen. And it will drop off the radar with his next bit of insanity.

And the next bit of insanity is Scrotus' tweet that Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) requested the Declaration of Emergency that Scrotus is going to sign off on. This is a lie. The Governor of NC, Roy Cooper, who is a Democrat, made the request as per usual procedures.

But since Sen Tillis is up for reelection next year, apparently Scrotus (and Tillis) want the 'credit' to go to him.

The inmate continues to run the asylum.

www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration-pentagon-idUSKCN1VP2VY

'WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Pentagon said on Wednesday it would pull funding from 127 Defense Department projects, including schools and daycare centers for military families, as it diverts $3.6 billion to fund President Donald Trump’s wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.'

AcrossthePond55 · 05/09/2019 12:22

See, that's going to be interesting. Apparently it's not allowed under law to divert defense funds without Congressional approval.

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/sep/04/child-separation-ptsd-trump-zero-tolerance

'Separated from his father at the US-Mexico border last year, the little boy, about seven or eight, was under the delusion that his dad had been killed. And he thought he was next.

Other children believed their parents had abandoned them. And some suffered physical symptoms because of their mental trauma, clinicians reported to investigators with a government watchdog.

“You get a lot of ‘my chest hurts’, even though everything is fine” medically, a clinician told investigators. The children would describe emotional symptoms: “Every heartbeat hurts,” or “I can’t feel my heart.”'

SanFranBear · 05/09/2019 16:07

lion - that is incredibly sad, those poor children.

I'm finding everything Brexiy quite overwhelming but this quote from a Washington Post piece helped make me feel better:

"These 21 rebels, in other words, stood up against a national leader from their own party in order to prevent him from harming the country, undermining the constitution and damaging democracy. Imagine how different American politics would be if we could find 21 Republican senators to do the the same."

lionheart · 05/09/2019 16:09

Get ready for more Trump-loving women to be wheeled out.

lionheart · 05/09/2019 16:20

And?

www.speaker.gov/newsroom/9419-1

'First, Trump suggested holding the G7 Summit at his Doral golf resort in Florida.

Now, the White House is walking back their previous statements that Trump personally suggested Pence stay at his Doonbeg hotel in Ireland, which would be yet another example of the President’s self-dealing.

Vice President Pence promised that their Administration would defend the Constitution and stand by a “strict constructionist” interpretation of the Constitution. Instead the Trump-Pence Administration is ignoring the text itself and selling out the Constitution to line Trump’s pockets. '

cozietoesie · 05/09/2019 17:15

You can't stop his tweets.

This has made me smile, too

I'll be interested to see his facial expression.......

cozietoesie · 05/09/2019 19:54

And to hear about the pre-event briefing. Smile

TheClaws · 06/09/2019 02:50

I haven’t posted a great deal from North Korea recently. Be assured, however, they are happily missile testing on a regular basis without any censure from anyone - in fact, it would seem as if the US President even encourages it (Trump said “that wasn’t in our agreement”).

So it’s business as usual in NK. Today they are sniping about Senator Ted Cruz regarding comments he made on Cuba. (Cuba is an ally of NK for those struggling to see the links here. I think Cruz must have made some remarks about the US’ relationship with Cuba, but really, it is impossible to nail down exactly what offended NK.)

KCNA Commentary Censures U.S. Senator's Anti-DPRK Remarks

Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- Some time ago, Ted Cruz, senator of the U.S., dared to slander the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

His mud-slinging is a politically-motivated provocation to the DPRK as it represented the perspective of the conservative lawmakers on the DPRK, not just his own personal view.

His remarks made at an acute time when the DPRK-U.S. dialogue is in a stalemate and nobody is sure whether the situation will keep going on the path of detente or go back to the origin of confrontation are, indeed, very dangerous ones just like adding fuel to the flames.

As a descendent of a renegade who fled his motherland Cuba, Cruz took the lead in branding the former U.S. administration's plan to recover the relations with Cuba as a "tragic mistake". When a resolution demanding the lift of the U.S. blockade against Cuba passed the UN General Assembly session by an overwhelming majority in October 2016, the human scum asserted that the policy on sanctions on Cuba must remain a must policy and law of the U.S.

When he was competing for the presidency on the Republican ticket in 2016, he spouted the rhetoric that the nuclear pact with Iran dramatically damages the interests of the U.S. and that if he becomes president, he would immediately mount a military attack on Iran, only to be called a war maniac.

When there occurred a terrorist attack in Brussels, Belgium in March 2016, he called for immediately stopping the plan of receiving evacuees from Syria, while treating Muslims as "criminals" and also called for tightening patrol and guard in the Islamic settlements, only to be branded as a radical racist in the U.S. political circle.

No wonder, heavyweight lawmakers from the Republican Party contended if he becomes a presidential candidate from the Republican Party, it will be a big disaster.

He, therefore, has become notorious not only in the U.S. but even in the Republican Party as "an ultra-rightist detested by everyone", "a liar" and "a demon in human shape".

His behavior is sure to make everyone take him as a remnant of Nazis with extreme misanthropy or a hysteric psychopath bereft of reason.

We will never pardon whoever provokes the dignity of the supreme leadership of our country but will make those pay dearly for what they have done by all means. -0-

Bob's gone!

Zimbabwe ex-President Robert Mugabe dies aged 95
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-49604152

Of course he'd already been replaced as president, so it won't cause the turmoil it might have. Just different turmoil. Like they need any more. Sad
