The economy is catching up with stupid, it seems. I just hope it doesn't go full recession. The signs have been there for a while.

I think we ARE headed for a full recession, if not a full blown economic depression.

DH and I had put off downsizing into a condo/townhouse. The way things are going I think I'm glad we did. We've got room to grow our own, a pasture for a cow, a pig pen (needing work!) and room to rent out 'allotments' to others. Yikes! I'm really prepping now!

Not from a farming family himself cozie, but grew up in a farming/agricultural area & had lots of 'farm boy' friends. Me, I grew up in a suburb of a large West Coast city, so other than horses I knew nil about country life until we met. We've always joked about ourselves as City/Beach Girl meets Country/Mountain Boy. We've learnt a lot from each other in the last 30+ years!!
