Well, he'll go to El Paso and they'll rope off the area and keep any protesters far, far away. Only 'The Faithful' will be allowed anywhere near. But he's so stupid and tone deaf that he simply won't get (or care) why family members refuse to meet him. It's all just a photo op, isn't it?

Just heard Scrotus on MSNBC (brief video clip). He's stating that the Dayton shooter was a Bernie & Warren supporter, and a supporter of Antifa. In other words, he was a Lefty. Of course he prefaced it with "From what I've heard". In other words, a total lie with a bit of 'plausible deniability' so when it's proven false he can say "Well, I was just repeating what I heard". Despicable!!!

And his base will accept it as the truth brought down from Mt Sinai on stone tablets.

And the latest clip I saw on MSNBC had him saying "I don't think my rhetoric is divisive. I think my rhetoric unites us".

Well, obviously! It unites his base, the only people he cares about uniting.

Guess he's landed in Dayton now. I finally had to turn off the telly, I just couldn't stand it anymore. So now I'm hearing birds and cattle. If I'm going to have to hear bull, I'd rather it be a real one!

imo it's not so much that trump is a liar, more that he lives in an alternate reality in which he is the golden lord of the universe and he expects the actual world to fall in line with his delusion

So, supposedly now Scrotus is 'behind' the background check bill and wants it voted on. This is meaningless because he knows that that bill will not pass the GOP controlled Senate. But 'just in case' he wouldn't commit to signing it IF he can get McConnell to bring it to a vote. Just said 'We'll get things done'. Also wouldn't commit to further gun control measures, like banning assault weapons.

This is based on Dayton Mayor's & Ohio Senator's remarks on their meeting w/him. From what they're saying it sounds as if he kind of gave them some lip service then brushed them off when they tried to raise other issues, such as more and better funding for mental health care. So, same old same old.

Obvs the patients & 1st Responders that Scrotus saw would have been 'cherry picked' so of course they 'greeted him like a rock star' 🙄

It was the same thing that happened when Scrotus visited the fire-ravaged town of Paradise here in California. They weren't about to let anyone who wasn't a slavering fan anywhere near him.
