GiantKitten · 21/07/2019 22:52

Oh! The one where she went back to Berlin? That was such a lovely programme, thanks for the nudge, Carrie Smile

Isn't she lovely, so sad about her parents.

CoolCarrie · 22/07/2019 00:38

It was very sad about her dad, and the whole programme was very touching, with the zoo story as well. I loved her comments about The Sound Of Music, that made me smile. A lovely lady indeed. I have kept all the Mog books that I used to read to my DS, but never bought the last one, maybe I will now.

I watched it and I found it fascinating to hear about her life. Such a lovely, eloquent, talented lady.

I will be getting DS14 to watch it also

GiantKitten · 22/07/2019 22:25

I just watched it on iplayer. Some of it is much more painful than I remembered - I must have blocked all that out. Still a brilliant programme, but so much sadness. She had tears in her eyes talking at the Berlin house Sad

Her World Book Club appearance was on R4 Extra this afternoon.
When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit.
Some great questions & answers.
