Hartleys jelly pots are suitable for vegetarians? Seriously have been vegetarian for almost all my life. DD made the choice to be veggie about 3 years ago. I have never eaten jelly as I know it contains gelatin and never thought the ready made pots woukd be different. This is going to make DD's day.

There’s loads of veggie and even vegan things you’d never expect to be, particularly processed ready made stuff. Chocolate chip hobnobs are vegan for example

labazsisgoingmad · 21/07/2019 18:26

can people advise us which are veggie please

SimonJT · 21/07/2019 18:28

Bisto standard gravy in the red tube is vegan. It’s surprising what items are vegan or vegetarian suitable.

These are ok for vegetarians

I would be careful with that because I am pretty sure chicken and mushroom pot noodles are suitable for vegetarians according to their labelling.

sweeneytoddsrazor · 21/07/2019 19:02

What is in chicken and mushroom pot noodles not suitable or vegetarians?

I think all the pot noodles are veggie. Asda's own wine gyms and midget gems are veggie, the birds trifle box has veggie jelly in too.
