Tips on how to deal with rude and moaning in-laws

Yes, I know I’m being unreasonable by describing my in-laws this way, but they’re so negative I find it exhausting.

They moan about the food, disapprove of our lifestyle and just take any opportunity to suck the joy out of life.

They’re coming tomorrow, so share your tips and tricks - how do you get through it?

I always find it quite fun being optimistic in the face of pessimism- always annoys the pessimist but they can't argue without looking like misery guys

I usually just say ‘sorry you feel that way’, or ‘is everything ok? A lot seems to be getting to you’

Sparkle socks I like those replies I wish I had employed those years ago Grin

How often do you have to see them?
I just don't see them now and it's blissful.
I just find them so rude, I've tried hard over the years and I can't bear them.
