Trump and Epstein and everything else!

So the Trump is known to have called a paedophile and sex trafficker (Epstein) a 'great guy'! He's also partied with him! I understand the concern. I understand the hatred of Trump, but come on, he's also called Kim of North Korea - MASS murderer and Violator of every human right we can think of, 'a great guy' and wined and dined with him!

There are no limits to which Trump will not stoop. Not sure Epstein is any worse than Kim!

What else will the American public, and for that matter - world powers, put up with...

All this 'go back home' stuff, rallying chanting from his followers, is also scarily reminiscent of a certain short, moustache weilding German (Austrian) guy. No doubt if that little man had been around today Trump would have thought him a 'great guy' too

No no - not just you at all. I think we are, for the most part, trapped in some kind of terrible state of hypnotism at the awfulness of pretty much everything. You keep thinking it can't get worse - and then it does!

I’m surprised this hasn’t had more responses - I was searching for a thread on Epstein after the “suicide attempt” yesterday. Sadly I think he will die before he’s prosecuted and given the names of his customers and I think quite a lot of people are resigned to that fact so yet again they won’t face justice, much like when the folder of evidence (that was never copied?!) got lost by Theresa May.

Our very own Prince Andrew is great chums with Epstein.

Not that this excuses Trump in any way whatsoever, I hasten to add! Just didn’t want our royals getting off Scott free!

Epstein knows too much for his case to go to trial.

Nasty rich people can do what they want (until they upset an even richer person). We don't need to look to the US to know that.

(I'm not suggesting all rich people are nasty. Just that there's a certain type that uses their wealth and power to control and abuse others.)

Sorry I know this thread is about more than just Epstein but I saw a tweet that said they were so invested in the Epstein case but they can’t talk about it with anyone because it sounds like they believe in chem trails and I agree! It seems that both Trump and the Clintons were friendly with him amongst many other rich celebrities, royalty included...

I also agree Epstein won't be around much longer given his possible connections. I said a while ago I assumed this latest example of racism was intended to distract from Mueller and Epstein.

But there has been talk for a very long time about powerful paedophile rings associated with people in power, royalty and celebrities. Remember Cory from The Goonies who someone tried to drive off the road after he started talking about it?

I despair at the apathy in general. The world seems to be going to hell in a hand cart with all of this, climate change, self serving politicians, increasing intolerance and division and nothing seems to happen. I can't think about it too much or I think I will end up a case of spontaneous human combustion.

I think the elite have become so so far distanced from us that they are ruled by themselves and things will come to light but they’ll quickly be dealt with and that’s the basis of most of societies issues now. Trump being president, Boris being PM... they know they can do what they like and they’ll still have a massive fan base. Racism, stupidity etc makes them more likeable it seems, how can setting up modern day concentration camps not have people up in arms? Yet people are attacking those who are trying to help and expose them such as AOC.

Iv felt like this about the state of things too. Especially worrying about what sort of world our children are growing up in.
What iv resorted to now is living in the moment and teaching my children to be the best humans they can.
The world has always been a nervous planet. According to some "writers" earth is more safer and thriving that it's ever been.

It looks like some names have been revealed today including one our very own royals. I’d like to think this would blow a big hole in the elite but it’ll be forgotten about by Christmas.
