To get this rash checked out?

Nephew is 11 months old and has a rash on his face. He seems well in himself but I'm worried and have made an appointment for 3:30.

Any ideas on what it could be? He had sunblock on on Tue and is cutting teeth.

It's probably nothing to worry about but it's good you're getting it checked out just in case. Hope he's OK xxx

Awww little sausage.

Always best to get checked if you're worried.

What's his temperature? I expect it's an allergic reaction to the sunblock, but it's always best to have things checked by a doctor.

QuestionableMouse · 19/07/2019 15:21

Temp is ranging from normal to a bit high (was 38.1 this morning but went down with calpol)

It's a virus.

We have to do calpol and keep him cool then take him back if he's not better.

Hopefully he'll sleep off the worst of it, that temp isn't too bad and calpol is magic sleep juice anyway. A rash can be useful in a virus, it's his body's way of getting rid of it.

He slept well last night but he always does. I can tell he's not feeling well because he's super snuggly and usually he wants to be on the floor (he's just starting to walk!)

My 10 month old is just getting over a horrible cold virus with conjunctivitis. Poor little thing. Fingers crossed he feels better quickly Smile
