Slushie syrup that I can buy tomorrow on the high street???
Leavers party today. I have borrowed an industrial slushie machine and ordered 500ml bottles of Slushie syrup from amazon which has arrived but I’ve now realised that it’s nowhere near enough to fill the slushie machine!!! Obviously can’t order any more online so please please help me find somewhere I can buy it tomorrow????
Alternatively if I added lemonade (as you need a certain percentage of sugar) instead of water so I could dilute the syrup more - do you think it would work?
Someone on mumsnet must either work for a slushie company or use one regularly?!!!

Robert Dyas stock Slush Puppie syrup and show 'high stock' in my local store.

How many bottles have you got? Is it not concentrated?

Why not see if you can buy some from a play centre or somewhere that does slushies?

We have a slushie machine at our business, the amount of sugar is really crucial to get the slushie to freeze properly. Ours has 2x 6l tanks, but we only use about 750ml of syrup per fill up-we have one of the 5l syrup bottles with a line drawn on so we get the right amount each time, and it's a LOT less than you think. We then top up with water to the top and pour into the machine. So you might have enough syrup already? Failing that my best suggestion would be checking the % sugar in the syrup and getting the closest full sugar cordial and using that. Hope that helps!

I have 2 x 5ml bottles of syrups (it’s a duo slushie maker so can make 2 different slushies.
You dilute 5-1 so each will make 2.5 litres of mix - machine max is 3 galleons so about 13 litres. I don’t need to fill that mush but certainly more than 2.5 litres!!!

Mmm think local pub might sell syrup and there is a soft play near work.
Will also check out Robert dyas and see if there’s any near Newport.
Thanks!!

I've just checked and ours is 1 part syrup to 5 parts water, so 1 litre of syrup fills 1 6l tank, and that is a lot of slushie!

Sorry 500ml bottles!!!

Sorry my calculations are wrong! I can make 3litres of each flavour.

@canihaveacoffeeplease. How many servings does your 6l make do you know? Also does the turning thing need to me covered or if I don’t fill it much will it still freeze??

Thanks

If you can figure out the sugar level, you can make more with water, sugar, and koolaid drink powder.
