Aibu to be annoyed by this company

I ordered some lovely recycled newspaper pencils last week.

I was sent the wrong item...

They wanted me to send the wrong item back before correct item was sent out.

When I explained that the item ordered was for teachers gifts, they acknowledged they had sent the wrong item and will send them out immediately. This was on Saturday. They confirmed they didn’t send them until Tuesday and as such still haven’t arrived today Angry

They have also refused to refund me the postage costs of returning the item they incorrectly sent until they have received the item back.

Fine..only I sent it by signed delivery first thing Monday morning and they still haven’t refunded me

I will be leaving a negative review with this company which is a shame as I don’t like doing it

Would you be annoyed? Or am I over reacting?

Messaged them again today as they still haven’t arrived

They apologised and said they sent them at their “earliest convenience” and that “I shouldn’t open them but send them straight back and they will issue a full refund. They will also wait until I’ve sent these back to refund the postage on my previous items I sent back”

Send everything back, then wait until you get your refund before you leave a bad review
