Very faint line on pregnancy test?

Hi mumsnet Smile I took a cheap Poundland pregnancy test this morning as I had (still have!) a feeling I was pregnant but because I wasn't completely sure I wanted to save my money. I've bought a more expensive test alongside after this faint line to do in a few days to verify which leads to my question. There's a very faint line on the pregnancy test (picture linked) and I'd like a second opinion. The speculation is high and I don't want to do the second more expensive test too soon! Is this very faint line visible to you? I hope it's visible enough on the photo to be seen. I could be clutching at straws.

Early positive. But I had these with the asda tests and they were all shitty false positives and even in the papers 😬 one I ran under the tap and it was a faint positive!!

bingbongnoise · 17/07/2019 23:39

Is it just me, or is there one of these every few days now? Confused

They are getting like the 'my DH is still not home' threads now. Every few days, there is another one. Wink

@beepjenni

The test is clearly negative. Pretty obvious I think.

Also, what is your AIBU? Confused

Ladybirdbookworm · 17/07/2019 23:44

Fingers crossed for you..please come back and let us know

beepjenni · 17/07/2019 23:47

Bingbongnoise that was just for traffic. I'm not a big user! Hahaha! I imagine there's a lot of these threads on mumsnet Wink

Ladybirdbookworm thank you 😊 I'll see how the second test goes

Smile But I will come back to post how the test goes. Hopefully it'll go as I'd like it to but the Poundland test was dubious

I've decided I'm going to be patient and test on Saturday or Sunday morning just to let my levels build a little and hopefully get an accurate result! I'll post when I get my result- hopefully it's what I want! Grin

Looks like an evap line and it does sound like you had your period albeit light. Tbh once you've had one positive test they're all usually positive with the exception of the digital ones. So I'm not sure why you are waiting so long.

SolsticeBabyMaybe · 18/07/2019 00:12

Get one of those ones that literally says 'pregnant' if you are, they're way easier!!

beepjenni · 19/07/2019 03:41

The second test brought back bad news, unfortunately

Hi,
What is non-advanced education? My son (18) is doing Access to HE Business & Law. Tax credits will continue if he is in non-advanced education. I've looked on the net but can't find a clear answer.
Thanks.

MRex · 19/07/2019 11:08

Sorry to hear it @beepjenni. Start shagging now ready for next month!

SmallHope · 19/07/2019 11:18

Sorry, @beepjenni - I've had three years of those awful negatives and it doesn't get any easier, best of luck for next month.

Mrsboombastic99 · 19/07/2019 12:01
