Workmen peeing in my garden AIBU to call them out on it

Tricky situation. Workmen massively messed up on some work i am having done in the house. Majorly expensive mistake. To say what would out me.

They have returned today to put it right at their cost. So I am staying low and quiet waiting for it to be finished.

I have noticed as I peer out of the window that they have been out in the garden one even got on my children’s trampoline and started bouncing. I was taken aback but decided I would choose my battles as I still need to receive some cash back from him to pay a separate workman to come back and fix something that needs doing again after they have left, so said nothing about that incident.

However just now I have witnessed two out of the three of them go down to the bottom of the garden and come back adjusting their trousers. They are clearly now touching the home improvement with their hands having not washed them.

I am not sure I want to go down there to see whether they have done a number 1 or 2, let alone confront them. But should I? If so what do I say.

The main guy has asked to use the loo why couldn’t the other two.

I am pretty laid back but the last time I had workmen in they had a portaloo in their van. Yuk!

I'd have to say something or speak to their boss? That's not on. My dog goes to the toliet in the garden ffs!

That's gross. The trampoline is inappropriate too, I would talk to their foreman, and maybe go out with some anti back gel and tell them they are welcome to use the toilet.

Thank you. I couldn’t cope with going down to look at it today. I did say to the main man as he left that I would appreciate him speaking with his workers to ask them to use the toilet in future and not go wandering down my garden. He looked very sheepish.

WT honest F. I don't know what's worse, though, honestly. Using the trampoline is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I once watched a roofer pee off the roof of the house behind me onto the garden. Anyone could have seen him he just couldn’t care less. And tradesmen wonder why they have such a bad rep!

Maybe they were in some Mumsnetter's houses before so now they are afraid to use client's toilet😁
