To be curious as to what Kate Cambridge eats and how she exercises?

Totally superficial I know but I think she looks absolutely fantastic.

As someone who has the same figure as Kate I'm bloody disgusted at the body shaming on this thread - it is absolutely NOT OK to judge women on how they look full stop.

I am naturally thin. I don't starve myself, I do have a small appetite admittedly but I'm not surprised because I see a lot of my friends who seem to be constantly on a diet eating huge plates of food.

I'm bloody sick of the women at work who eat cakes and biscuits at work every break commenting on 'how skinny I am' and to 'have some cake'.

I don't like sweet things! Give me a scone or a pasty any day over a cake - just don't bloody comment on my weight when those who do it are invariably overweight!

I think she has a bloody stressful life to be honest. This is a 400+ post thread discussing her weight and the national press keep banging on about her husband having an affair.

It would drive me to a gin and a mars bar.

I think her head, hands and feet look disproportionately large. That’s because she’s not small framed - she’s too thin for her frame.

I am a bit dubious of people claiming to be the same size as her. Putting her height aside - she looks about a size 6 in photos.

IRL, she is going to be noticeably slimmer than that. As someone who is a size 6, and has met her, has confirmed.

I don't see all that many size 0, 5"8' women walking around.

She's naturally slim and seems to enjoy sport/exercise. I'm sure the endless mumsnet and DM threads about every tiny detail of her appearance are enough incentive to lay off the carbs.

And yes, she is slimmer than her university days, no doubt by a certain degree of effort and deprivation.

But so what?

It's hardly surprising, given the focus on her.

It's probably easier to stay super slim, than to take the inevitable criticism of any extra weight. I know which option I'd prefer....

That's hardly some great sacrifice.

Seriously - if you're going to make out that she's missing out on life's pleasures, at least suggest something that's appetising.

Would it be ok for me to judge the posters claiming Kate is anorexic or 'far too thin' to then post a thread about how most UK women eat too much and are chubby?? Really?? Give your heads a wobble and try and understand that some of us are naturally slim, don't like cakes and don't feel it ok to berate on anyone's weight!

She eats like a horse. She’s hands on with her kids and works hard around the house and garden too. Her choice. Her metabolism is firing on all cylinders and between all this she’s working on charities and her mind is on the go too. All of this burns up calories. Well, you did ask.

@Loobielouslegs - did you read the rest of my post? I said she looks like a size 6 in photos (and on TV), so will be much slimmer in real life. Likely size 0, going by someone who, like you, is a size 6 and said she is much tinier.

I am taller than her, but a size 10-12, so can only dream!

@kateandme as you will have seen from my posts, I regret titling the thread as I did. I reported it myself and got an email back at around 5pm saying they’d look into it but it still stands.

If you want a thread to be deleted, just state that you have been recognised in real life, it always work

seeing written in black and white how people can "thin-shamed" and abuse a skinny woman is quite instructive, I nearly with the thread stays.

@formerbabe I'm not a teen :) and as I said previously, my mum is incredibly slender- as are many women I know who aren't young.

Are you all looking at the same photos and TV footage as me? She looks like a perfectly normal slim woman. I know plenty of women who are similar shapes and every day I see many running past me on my walks who are noticeably thinner. Her cheeks aren't gaunt, she has flesh on her upper arms. She's just quite tall and slim.

She is slim but to be honest so are all of her family.However if you look at photos from magazines when she was at Uni she had a few more pounds on her.
However in my opinion I think she looks a little to slim looking at the photos from Wimbledon today.
